3 Day Open Air Festival Jimna
For the first time ever, Earthcore
headed to Queensland in full outdoor tour mode.
In true Earthcore tradition there were four feature length stages
including beats and broken bass tipi space, the tribal techno machine
and a monster main floor which unleashed an open air all-star international
line up from dusk till later than dawn...
There was also a full market precinct, camping, workshops and other
festival frolicking.
Ravesafe
attended the event, camping on site and working together with the
event organisers. Earthcore was a great event and our tem really
look forward to being part of it in 2006. |

Gold Coast Parklands |
A
BIG DAY OUT
A huge estimated crowd of between
45,000 and 50,000 people attended this year's Big Day Out held at
the Gold Coast Parklands. Numerous bands
entertained the crowd from midday to midnight. The Ravesafe team
were on board from early in the morning, til closing. A total of
44 Ravesafe Team Leaders
and volunteers assisted on the day to help look out for patron safety
and health and also to distribute free water and sunscreen. Volunteers
also assisted with
spraying water over the crowds as the day was very hot.

THE
GATHERING FESTIVAL
The Gathering Festival is now in
it’s third year and wants to show all walks of life and people
of any age group that there is now an event on the Sunshine Coast
that is catering to everyone, from the traditional opening by the
Murries to the thumping grooves and beats of the dance bands.The
Gathering Festival will have two stages and run for almost twelve
hours. With bands and performers from Melbourne such as Blue King
Brown, The Hands from Sydney, 3 acts from Byron Bay including Greg
Sheehan, Tyrone Noonan from the band George and some great local
talent.
